Because you are valuable to God and our family, your next steps in growing your faith are so important. Whether you're a new believer in Christ, have been attending New Hope for a while, or are simply wondering how to strengthen your relationship with Jesus, we are here to assist you with your Next Steps.
SALVATION
Saying Yes! means you acknowledge that you have fallen short of righteousness and God's standard of holiness; we call that sin. Then, you believe and confess that Jesus paid for all sin by His death on the cross, and you want His payment to be applied to your life. You have repented (changed your mind, turned back toward God), confessed, and believed. That's all it takes to become a child of God. It is the beginning of a lifelong journey to become more like God, to love Him fully, and to live the life you were created to have.
WATER BAPTISM
Water Baptism is a public declaration of our identification with Jesus: His death, burial, and resurrection. By being water baptized, you are publicly declaring that you have died to yourself and have decided to follow Jesus Christ. DEVOTIONS
Doing daily devotions re-patterns the way we think and transforms the spirit of the mind. As we read and journal the Word of God, we begin to learn the heart and ways of God. Then, when we face situations in life, we begin to respond in the same way that Jesus would.

GDGS
Growing Deep Growing Strong
Completion of this free online program is a priority for everyone who calls New Hope West their home church. The heart of a family and its values are so important to the vibrancy and function of that family. So it is with New Hope West! We feel it is critical that every person who God calls to be a part of our church should know and understand the mission, heart, and values of our church. As you work through the Growing Deep Growing Strong videos, you will also learn valuable Biblical lessons to strengthen your relationship with Christ!
LIFE GROUPS
Lifegroups at New Hope West are what we call our small groups. The purpose of these groups is to be a place where people connect and grow spiritually, relationally, care for each other, and discover God's purpose for their lives. This purpose echoes New Hope Core Value #4 In Keeping with the Great Commandment, we believe every member should commit to a lifestyle of consistent spiritual growth with honest accountability.
What Small Groups does New Hope West offer?
Devotions and Bible Study Groups:
These groups, consisting of 2-10 people, gather to engage in daily devotions or Bible studies together. We offer a variety of groups, including those for men, women, young adults, marriage, and more!
Affinity Groups:
These gatherings are formed around shared interests and passions like exercise, pickleball, quilting, archery, and more. These groups also include prayer and devotional sharing.
